Coconut Macaroons with Chocolate Chips

Ingredients:

12 cups Sweetened coconut flakes
3 cups sweetened condensed milk
3 cups white or semi sweet chocolate chips
(Your variation)

 

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 325 to 350 degrees (this temperature setting depends on your oven,these macaroons should be baked in a hot oven to start and watched carefully, if your oven is too hot decrease the temp, and finish in cooler oven.

Take large bowl add coconut, condensed milk & chocolate chips. Mix well. Take cookie scoop and scoop 1 ounce drops of mix and place on greased parchment covered cookie pan.

Then bake for 10-12 minutes until bottom is golden brown.
Rotate cookie pan midway through baking.
Be careful not to burn.
Do not remove cookie from sheet until it has cooled.


VARIATION... Chocolate dipped coconut macaroons

Then you have the option to partially dip the cookie in white or semi sweet melted chocolate, allow the excess chocolate to drip off. Then set macaroon on tray to allow the chocolate to solidify. 4 ounces of chocolate to dip the macaroons
